Boat and Swim with Dolphins in Florida
These dolphin photos were all taken from our boat. Dolphins are complex, social and intelligent. We enjoy seeing this dolphin on a regular basis. He will swim up to your boat and come out of the water to say hello. This beautiful dolphin then swims beside or behind the boat for a few moments, then he will return to his home area.

Dolphin Watching from the Gulf Beaches
We have visited every beach from Anna Maria Island to Manasota Key. We enjoy snorkeling on sand bars and swimming in the Gulf of Mexico. We have been swimming in the gulf and dolphins will swim so close that we could touch them. Recently, two dolphins seemed to be performing for the Siesta Key beachgoers, jumping out of the water in unison and crossing one another's path.
Use Respect and Caution with Dolphins
It is important to respect dolphins as wild and not try to touch or feed them. If you hold out food to a dolphin they may grab it and bite your hand. Marine biologist Andrew Read says bites from dolphin attacks are rare. They typically happen for a reason, Read says: "Generally either a dolphin has been conditioned to act in an unusual way, by provisioning it with food, or humans are harassing a dolphin and a dolphin strikes out."
